Borderlands is a small press magazine publishing Australian science fiction, fantasy and horror stories, and associated non-fiction.

Borderlands Publications, the publisher of the magazine, is based in Perth, Western Australia, and is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the promoting the science fiction, fantasy and horror genres in Australian literature.

"The Fear of White" by Rjurik Davidson, published in Borderlands issue 7, won the 2007 Ditmar (Australian Science Fiction Achievement award) for Best Short Story.

Publishing Schedule

Borderlands has moved to binannual publishing schedule, with releases scheduled for April and October. Issue 11 will be out in October, 2008.
